Privacy Policy
Effective as of July 24, 2024.
Thank you for being a part of the community at Manta Cares, Incorporated ("Manta," "we", “us” or "our"). Together we support cancer patients, survivors, caregivers and their care teams to manage and navigate cancer. This Privacy Policy describes how Manta processes personal information that we collect through our digital or online properties or services that link to this Privacy Policy (including as applicable, our website, social media pages, podcast pages, marketing activities, live events and other activities described in this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Service”)). Manta may provide additional or supplemental privacy policies to individuals for specific products or services that we offer at the time we collect personal information.
As patients, survivors, and caregivers ourselves, we understand the importance of data privacy. Many of the resources available on our site can be accessed without creating an account and, if you create an account, you can choose what, if any data you choose to include within your profile. In addition, with respect to any personal information you choose to include in your profile, we enable you to keep your personal information accurate, current and complete, either by updating your profile or by contacting us as specified below. You may also delete your account; however, please note that should you make such a request, further access to your account, including any content you have added to your account and data about your cancer journey, will not be possible.
Sometimes we work with other organizations, such as doctors offices, hospitals, cancer centers, life science companies, patient advocacy organizations, and foundations (collectively, “Partner Organizations”). Our use of information that we process solely on behalf of our Partner Organizations is governed by our agreements with such Partner Organizations, and not this privacy policy. For questions about the use of information from a Partner organization, please direct your concerns to that Partner Organization.

We carefully analyze what types of information we need to provide our services, and for you to have the best experience. We try to limit the information we require to only what we really need. We enable you to add optional information to enhance your experience. Where possible, we delete or anonymize this information when we no longer need it. When building and improving our products, we do so with privacy in mind. In all of this work, our guiding principle is that we aim to use your information to benefit you in your journey.
